Heli Skiing in GulmargHeli skiing has now become a reality in Gulmarg. For interested skiers it is therefore possible to enjoy many runs over steep and wide open snow fields at the 4'745m high Sunset Peak and to affront various long heli ski descents through beautiful forests in the lower part of this fantastic heli ski terrain. Heli skiing is a perfect addition to the existing gondola accessed slopes on Mt. Apharwat and an alternative way to explore Kashmir's unique winter world with its exceptional possibilities for numerous and breath taking powder snow runs over endless snowfields and through challenging forests.   
Heli Ski Gulmarg - Price and Dates 2012 Since last winter heli ski programs should now be available in Gulmarg on a regular basis during January and February. By clicking on the respective program title you will get access to the full details of our different heli skiing offers. Binding prices and dates for 2012 have not been communicated yet. From our point of view the best approach is to book single flights only and to pay your seat in cash once you are in Gulmarg. The number of participants in Gulmarg's heli ski programs is limited to 20 passengers per week or day. In order for us to inform the heli ski operator about our seat requirements interested skiers and snowboarders are aksed to let us know their heli skiing plans with their booking of our programs. The cost for single flights is EUR 300 per person. Based on our experience with heli ski programs in the Himalaya (Gulmarg, Manali) we have to advise interested persons that the availability of the service can not be guaranteed to 100%. It is quite common the the rquired permits are cancelled in the last minute or linked with conditions that cannot be met within a short time.
